Classes


For the Winter Semester of 2011 all photography classes are being conducted on Tuesday nights.  To enroll in either of these classes, or to look at the other offerings of the Fridley Community Ed, please visit their website.

Beginning Digital Photography--  2/1- 2/22 4 Sessions 7-8 pm: 

This class for the novice photographer will cover the fundamentals of composition, editing, how to go beyond the automatic settings, and cover subject matter from portrait photography to creating fine art images to hang on your walls.  Bring your camera (Point and Shoot or DSLR) and manual to class. 

Beginning Photoshop-- 3/1- 3/22 4 Sessions 7-8 pm:

Take your photos from average to amazing! For the beginning Photoshop student, this class covers quick fixes as well as using layers, curves, brushes and other tools, filters, effects and many of the other powerful tools of this editing software. Bring a disk of 5 images to the 1st class.

The Spring/ Summer Semester catalog will be available soon, and with it will come greater class selections and alternate nights of classes.  If you find yourself unable to attend due to the night a class is scheduled, please contact Carrie to express your desire for an alternate class day to be scheduled, or to find out about the possibility of one-on-one instruction.
